Daniel Terence Yu

Taking the helm of Visionarch at the young age of 30, Daniel Terence Yu led the company’s transition to second-generation leadership and turned it into the country’s most prolific architectural corporations. He was among the pioneers of “architect-led development” in the early 2000s, completing one of the earliest developments, a seven-tower condominium, in Bonifacio Global City. Daniel is an ASEAN Architect specializing in transit-oriented development. Among his most notable projects is One Ayala, which vied for the best Future Infrastructure project in the 2017 World Architecture Festival, Berlin. It is by far the largest Philippine project that competed in the world’s biggest architectural competition. At present, Daniel leads the design and masterplan of the North Triangle Transport Terminal in Quezon City and the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange in Arca South. He has been featured in trade magazines such as BluPrint and D+C Magazine, and has spoken on real estate trends in some of the biggest gatherings of architects, developers, and allied professionals. He holds a master’s degree in Architectural Management and Design from IE School of Architecture and Design in Madrid. He teaches advanced design courses in the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.

Kenneth Uy
Vice President
Managing the firm’s highly-specialized projects, Kenneth guides clients in exploring fusions of architectural typologies beyond the conventional residential, commercial, and office city blocks. Understanding urbanism and how the city works, he recognizes development opportunities and creates success stories out of the most featureless of places.
Kenneth’s business acuity enabled him to manage the growth of the company’s investments in Bonifacio Global City. An ASEAN architect, he completed his architecture degree from the University of Santo Tomas and placed fifth in the architecture licensure exams.
Richard Garcia
Vice President
Among the recent projects Richard Garcia has handled as Visionarch’s vice president are the Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig, Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod, and SM Lanang in Davao. For his body of work, he earned the license to practice as an ASEAN Architect with specialization in commercial mixed-use projects. Richard started in Visionarch, then known as G&W Architects, in 1993 and rose through the ranks, first as project manager, and later as division head and associate at the age of 23. An indefatigable mentor whose career spans 25 years, he likes to keep things informal in the workplace, knowing the weight of responsibility that comes with working on high-value projects. An advocate of sustainability, he led the design of Texas Instruments’ headquarters in Baguio, the first LEED-certified building in the country, and the Johnson and Johnson GFS building in Parañaque, a LEED Gold building. Richard brings years of leadership experience to the United Architects of the Philippines, serving in various capacities before his election as Chancellor of the College of Fellows. A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, Richard holds licenses in architecture and landscape architecture.
